Show members' full names in your workspace
Workspace Owners and Admins can choose whether their members see others' full names or display names when they view messages in Slack. This will be the workspace-wide default unless members choose to update their individual preferences for how names are displayed in Slack.
This setting is useful when there are a lot of people that go by the same name in your workspace, or if some members’ display names make it hard to recognize who you’re speaking to.
Set to show the optional display name that members may choose to add to their profile. Note: Members can change how names are displayed in their Slack app. The workspace-wide setting will not override an individual member's preference.
