Upload a profile photo
Your profile photo helps your team know who you are in Slack. And, if your photo is clear, it'll be easier for someone to pick you out in a crowd or a meeting!

Click your workspace name in the top left to open the menu.
- Select Profile & account.
- On the right, click Edit Profile.

Under Profile photo, click the image to Change your profile photo, then select Upload an image.
- Adjust the crop for your photo, then click Save profile picture.
- Click Save Changes.
- Swipe left to open the right sidebar.
- Tap Edit Profile
- Tap the profile picture box in the top left.
- Upload a photo from your Photo Library or to take a photo instead.
- Crop the photo if you need to.
- Tap the close icon in the top left.
- Tap the three dots icon at the top right.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap the profile picture box.
- Upload a photo from your Gallery or to take a photo instead.
- Wait a moment for your profile to update.
- Tap the close icon in the top left.
- Launch a mobile browser and go to my.slack.com/account/profile. Sign in with your account details if you need to.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Select the profile photo box, then choose an app.
- Choose an image from your device or take a photo.
- Crop the image as you'd like, then tap Save Profile Photo.
- Tap Save Changes.
Say cheese! Your profile picture should be a minimum of 512x512 pixels, but no larger than 1024x1024 pixels.
Note: If your Slack email address is the same one used for your Gravatar account, your Slack profile picture will be your Gravatar. If you'd like to change your photo, upload a new one to Slack.
