Install Enterprise Mobility Management

Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) allows a company to control how employees access apps and networks on mobile devices. With EMM for Slack installed, only approved mobile devices can access workspaces on your Slack Enterprise Grid.

Mobile security for your device

Once activated, members will receive an email along with a Slackbot message containing details on how to set up EMM on their device.  

Operating system	Technical requirements	Instructions
iOS	iOS 10 or later	Download the Slack for EMM app from the App Store.
Android	Android 4.1 or later	Turn on your work profile, then use the Slack for Android app.
Windows		Slack for EMM is not available for Windows Phone.

What to expect

Members will have 72 hours to set up EMM for Slack on their device. If a member does not complete the EMM setup, they will be signed out of Slack on their mobile devices.
