Guest invitation permissions for organizations
Within Slack Enterprise Grid organizations, Workspace Owners and Workspace Admins can invite guests to workspaces by default. 🗣
If you’d like more control over who can invite guests — like contractors, consultants, vendors, or other people your colleagues work with — you can adjust the preference to suit your needs. Here are the options you can choose from:
- Org Owners/Admins only
- Org Owners/Admins, plus Workspace Owners/Admins
- Org Owners/Admins, plus select members
Change guest invitation permissions
- Sign in to your Slack Enterprise Grid, then click Manage organization.
- Visit the Settings page of the Admin Dashboard, then click Organization Policies.
- Click Add Policy next to expand the settings for Guest Invitations.
- Choose who can invite guests to the organization.
- Click Add Policy to finish.
