Set default Do Not Disturb hours
When default Do Not Disturb hours are set for your workspace or Enterprise Grid organization, Slack will not send any desktop or mobile notifications of activity to members.
Add default Do Not Disturb hours

Enterprise Grid plan
Here's how Workspace Owners and Admins can set default DND hours:
- From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.

- Select Workspace settings from the menu.
- Scroll down to Do Not Disturb and click Expand.
- Select the default hours when notifications will not go out to members.
- Click Save Settings when you're done!
Individual workspace level
Here's how Workspace Owners and Admins can set default DND hours:
- From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.

- Select Workspace settings from the menu.
- Scroll down to Do Not Disturb and click Expand.
- Select the default hours when notifications will not go out to members.
- Click Save Settings when you're done!
Enterprise Grid organization level
Here's how Org Owners and Admins can set default DND hours for all workspaces connected to the Enterprise Grid organization:
- From your desktop, sign in to your Slack Enterprise Grid, then click Manage Organization.
- Under Settings, click Organization Policies.
- Next to Do Not Disturb Mode, click Add Policy.
- Check the box next to Automatically disable notifications from and select the default hours when notifications will not go out to members of your org.
- Click Save Policy.
Note: When you change your workspace or organization's default Do Not Disturb hours, this will override your members' individual settings, but they'll have still have the option to reset their own hours or turn off the feature.
